11th Path to Full Employment/16th National Unemployment Conference - December 3-4, 2009

The 11th Path to Full Employment Conference and the 16th National Conference on Unemployment will be held at the University of Newcastle from Thursday, December 3 to Friday, December 4, 2009.

This year will be the first for some time that official unemployment rates will rise. While the downturn for Australia has been less severe than expected, it still remains that around 13 per cent of the available labour force is unable to get enough work. This year's conference will be provide a chance to share ideas from the best researchers and practitioners in the area of concern about how we can avoid quickly reduce the wasteful labour underutilisation.

Conference Dinner - Thursday, December 3, 2009

The Conference Dinner will be held at the Surtaj Restaurant in Hunter Street, Newcastle. This is downtown in the heart of Newcastle which may influence your decision regarding accommodation. The dinner is included in the Conference registration fee. It will be a buffet format. Google Map of Location.

CofFEE-SHE Conference 2-in-1 Offer
