Opening of Research Cottage a.k.a. CofFEE House

On May 18, 2004, the Vice-Chancellor of the University officially opened Research Cottage, which is the new
location for CofFEE at the University of Newcastle. Around 45 guests attended the opening and were able to see
CofFEE's new office building. The building is in a wooded setting on the edge of the campus and has been
provided by the University in recognition of the expansion of the Centre. It includes a seminar room, which
will be used for future CofFEE workshops.
After speeches, the Vice-Chancellor cut a 'virtual ribbon' and declared the building open. The location of the building can be found here for future reference. Photos:
